The future does not have to be this

Recycling's #1 Problem is Contamination.

When non-recyclable items or improperly prepared materials are placed in a recycling bin, they can significantly complicate the sorting process at recycling facilities, increasing costs and potentially rendering the entire batch unusable—ultimately sending it to landfills instead of being repurposed.

What's Wrong With Community Drop-Off Recycling?

Contamination

Some people dispose of anything and everything in recycling bins. When recycling is contaminated, the entire load may be sent to a landfill—even if it contains clean, recyclable materials. As a result, those clean materials are wasted, leading to unnecessary environmental costs.

Emission

Diesel trucks are characterized by their efficiency in transporting drop-off recycling bins over considerable distances. Nonetheless, their reliance on fossil fuels results in substantial greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to climate change and deteriorating air quality.

Cost

For many years, recycling was inexpensive. We collected materials and sent low-quality waste to China. However, the China National Sword Policy drastically disrupted recycling in the U.S. The rising costs of labor, fuel, and maintenance have made community recycling unaffordable for many municipalities.

Overfilled Bins

Recycling bins are not monitored, leading people to use them as dumpsters by placing trash inside. When bins are full, they often leave waste on the ground, expecting someone else to clean it up. Additionally, inadequate public awareness and education about acceptable materials contribute to the problem.

The Modular Solution

Unlock the future of recycling with our innovative modular solution, designed using repurposed shipping containers.  Our recycling centers occupy just four parking spaces, maximizing efficiency and sustainability. This innovative design maximizes space efficiency while providing versatile functionality for a variety of applications. Each unit can be seamlessly integrated into diverse environments, addressing the growing demand for adaptable and sustainable structures in urban settings. By leveraging the inherent durability and transportability of shipping containers, our solution offers a pragmatic approach to contemporary spatial challenges.
